Microsoft on Tuesday released a preview of its latest webmail client, Outlook.com. Built from the ground up, Outlook.com has a strong social component, with links to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google. A link to Skype is coming soon. Office Web apps -- Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote -- are included with Outlook.com, which will position it directly against Google Docs. Current users of Microsoft's Hotmail service can switch easily to Outlook.com by clicking on the upgrade option in the Hotmail option menu.

Outlook.com? NO Thanks! As, Outlook.com keeps on
reminding me, of that other MS Disaster called
Outlook Express! So MS You Can Forget My Ever Using It or anything like it! Hotmail and Live.com
work really great so did H 1 B Visa dream this total nonsense up on all of us that love HOTMAIL?
And Here I Just Got A New Hotmail E-mail that I
will now never use if Micro Soft kills Hotmail and
Live.com for this POS Outlook.com Nonsense. I was
going to buy a new computer with Micro Soft but
will go by an Apple instead. Boycott Outlook.com.
