They're four years apart, but when it comes to fast-paced gaming, the original Xbox and the upcoming Xbox 360 might as well be in separate galaxies. It's the difference between "race cars and rockets," says Steven L. Kent, author of "The Ultimate History of Video Games," who previewed the 360 last week. "They're both built for speed, but the difference is an order of magnitude."

Nice article. Just one note: I believe the word you're looking for is not 'technofile,' but 'technophile.' The suffix is from the Greek 'philos,' which means 'beloved'; it's the same word that gives us 'Philadelphia' and 'philologist.' Ergo, a technophile is someone who loves technology.
