Nice article. Just one note: I believe the word you're looking for is not 'technofile,' but 'technophile.' The suffix is from the Greek 'philos,' which means 'beloved'; it's the same word that gives us 'Philadelphia' and 'philologist.' Ergo, a technophile is someone who loves technology.
