Biometrics -- or biometric authentication -- refers to technology that measures and analyzes human physical characteristics for security purposes. Physiological, or biometric, characteristics include, for instance, eye retinas, facial patterns and hand or foot measurements, whereas examples of behavioral characteristics include a person's gait and signature. Applications are varied and include the security of communications networks and IT systems as well as physical access to facilities.

Right on. I agree the wave is just beginning to build. Recognition and awareness are key. Do not forget about security products like locks and access control systems for the workplace and home. My company produces these products and we see tremendous growth opportunity in eliminating keys from peoples lives. Take a look at cars now.
It is amazing technology and the time is right. People want things to be secure, but do not want to remember passwords, codes, PINS, etc... to a 100 different places.
Nice job on the story!
