Will the interactivity of the media, the atomization of knowledge and the premium on rapid response result in a collective loss of wisdom, judgment and perspective? Opinions differ. Perhaps here lies the solution to spreading misinformation - raise the bar of responsibility and liability. It may reduce the quantity of info, and maybe pinch a bit the (sacred) freedom of saying / expressing just about anything... But most of the "reduced" info will be junk anyway. Yet this would also increase the quality.
