Oh... then my display stopped working!!! Well, something must have jostled loose cuz all I had to do was wiggle the graphics card a bit and it worked again.
Then I had problems running dual display mode... after 90 minutes, techsupport had me uninstall drivers...

... problem with Steam and Linux is twofold, 1.-You have a number of Linux core devs that are "purists" and thus will make it VERY hard for anything that isn't FOSS (and lets be honest folks Steam IS DRM, even if its a pretty nicely done form of it) and frankly it doesn't take much to make the shifting sands that is Linux internals not play nice with Steam.

The second problem is an even bigger mess, and that can be laid squarely at the feet of Torvalds...the horrible state of the graphics subsystem in Linux. you can buy a graphics card ...

PCI? Hmm, using your computer's graphics card, that's about it. PCMCIA Bus? Nada. Ethernet? Not unless you count the virtual adapter it installs.
Automatically detects hardware? I do believe it's this wee thing in the middle called Windows(TM) that does this bit. Network connections?

You can download and use the free tools directly from the authors and do exactly what Robolinux claims to do

Sysinternals Disk2VHD will capture any Windows installation you have and you can then use the VM in Virtualbox

The VM's created by Robolinux are the same as you can make by yourself with a simple Google search or 2

Robolinux VM's are no different and they are NOT compatible with all Windows Software
They do NOT provide Graphics card ...
