It’s been an extremely good week for the shareholders of online retailer Cyberian Outpost (Nasdaq: COOL), which climbed 1-5/8 to 13-1/2. Cyberian Outpost stock was boosted by the news that Ziff Davis (Nasdaq: ZD) is thinking about the possibility selling ZDNet.com. Shares of Ziff Davis climbed 4-5/16 to 18-1/2, and the news boosted the stock of computer-related companies including Cyberian Outpost.
Cyberian Outpost stock closed last Friday at 9-3/16. The stock closed up 1-1/16 to 10-7/8 on Monday after the company announced it had been authorized to sell IBM’s complete line of personal computers. The stock has stayed hot since then and was also perhaps boosted by Onsale’s (Nasdaq: ONSL) $400 million deal to acquire Egghead.com (Nasdaq: EGGS).
