Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD) rose 4 11/16 to 19 1/8 Monday after releasing a new product that allows companies to connect with customers over the Internet, through mobile devices and in person at customer service centers.
The Cupertino, California-based Chordiant said the new software, Chordiant v 2.0, is the first to allow companies to work with customers across a range of devices, including handheld computers and cellular phones.
